Beautiful boutique hotel with pool perfectly situated in Split

Ana greeted us with a big smile and when we left, we departed with a big heartfelt hug! She made us feel so welcome in the beautiful hotel. Our room number 6 looked over the pool. A large comfortable room with a very big walk in shower! (lots of clothes hanging space, hair dryer, shampoo, soaps, coffees etc) We enjoyed breakfast (10 euros) sitting outside. (or inside) The hotel is perfectly placed in the city close to everything, all walking distance. Too many restaurants to choose from! The main reasons we choose Sperone hotel was for its intimacy being a small hotel and best of all it had a pool to chill in after walking around the beautiful streets sightseeing in the heat. It may be small, but it was a pure gem for us! Luxury sun beds to use. A small outside bar. Very friendly staff (especially Ana) oh and I almost forgot to mention the lovely heavy soft cotton bed linen. Thank you and I really hope we can stay again one day.

Dont change anything, except for maybe providing freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast! (which I love!)

Best place to stay

Absolutely stunning hotel which we highly recommend for your next trip to Split! Its location is just in the city center and everything is within a walking distance from it. Pool is great and having breakfast by it is a perfect way to start your day. Room was really nice and clean, nothing to complain about.

Pool was great during the heatwave here. Rooms modern and clean. Staff very happy to help with bookings Breakfast good

Shower only warm for 5 minutes then freezing. TV couldn’t get access to until last day.

Perfect city break hotel

Well located in the pedestrianised central zone, just a stone’s throw from all the major historical and cultural attractions. The staff were all incredibly helpful throughout our stay, helping us with restaurant bookings, trip suggestions, parking tips etc. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The outside area has a small pool with sun beds plus tables and chairs where guests can enjoy breakfast, have a drink, or even have a takeaway!

A hidden gem in Split

This hotel is a wee hidden gem. Location is excellent in the Varos district, a 5 minute stroll away from the historic centre of Split and around 10-15 minutes walk from the bus station and port area along the seafront. The immediate vicinity of the hotel is teeming with lots of lovely bars, restaurants and cafés so you are spoiled for choice. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed with lots of modern touches. I had a double room at the very top of the hotel with a fabulous view, exceptionally comfortable bed, and some lovely touches such as a wet room, well-stocked mini-bar, smart mirror (I hadn't seen one of these in a hotel room before!). The breakfast buffet had everything you could want, including hot food, fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissants, a selection of cheeses and meats, and it was very pleasant to be able to sit outside and have breakfast in the courtyard. All in all, I had a lovely relaxing short break there and would thoroughly recommend it.

Great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Gave me a box of chocolates for my birthday! Breakfast by the pool was a good way to start the day.

Prefer a door on bathroom rather than a curtain.

A great find - a calm, beautiful hotel with lovely staff. I would thoroughly recommend this to my closest friends and f

the penthouse was a dream with its own terrace and small seating area. the hotel feels brand new. furnishings are stylish and comfortable. lovely bathroom with a great shower. it’s rights in the heart of the town, but so peaceful. easy to walk into the prom area and palace in minutes. lovely little restaurants and a small supermarket are very close by. we stayed 5 nights and will return again. breakfast by the pool each day was calm and good quality for a small hotel. the staff were so friendly and welcoming.

the entrance gate to the property is a bit tricky (if not explained how to work it) and my wife and I both trapped our fingers beware there is no lift - but it’s worth the walk up the stairs!

Just perfect - we couldn’t of asked for more

We stayed in Split for a long girls weekend with my mother, her friend and mine. Everything about our stay was beyond perfect. The hotel was stunning, with everything we could have needed. The location was great, down some beautiful quiet streets with restaurants around. Close to the main areas without being directly on top of it. It was beautifully decorated throughout with that spa smell. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel, great for vegetarians as well. The spa area was also gorgeous as well as the outdoor space. You booked an hour slot at the spa so had it all to yourself. The staff at the hotel really made it - they were so lovely and became friends by the time we left! They couldn’t have made us feel more welcomed and at home. It feels like a really loved, family run place and there is nowhere else we would stay in Split. I have already recommended it to my friends and family and we can’t wait to stay again.
